Mother Olive is the most exquisite and precious lamp I have made so far. The main wooden part was gifted by one of the oldest olive trees in Korčula island, Croatia. I went visit it and the majesty of this 10m high olive tree is outstanding. I heard a whisper "climb me" and so I went up to the part where the trunk was cracked open and there I saw this beautiful piece that I could freely pick. 

To honour this ancient tree I made a lamp that will shine on with its spirit. 
 
Bottom part is made from reclaimed olive wood from Korčula as well, and the stand is made of metal.
